Inserted/adhered zipper: Apply water-based latex glue to the fabric of the zipper well, and let it dry, then reinforce the latex glue edges (where the zip should be) by gluing a strip of latex, then the zipper on top, and then gluing another strip of latex on top, sandwiching it.(with Solvent glue).
Always use nickel-free and copper-free zippers, see our shop for plastic zippers.
General instructions: Remove the talcum powder from the edges of the adhesive and roughen the edges lightly with very fine sandpaper (good for a good adhesion of the latex glue).
Then degrease the latex (adhesive edges) well (degreasing latex is very important!), e.g. with isopropanol alcohol and Thinner or with our special latex degreaser (available in our latex shop).
If you wish, you can attach the latex parts with paper tape (masking tape), also double-sided tape is useful. Then apply a thin layer of Solventlatex glue or water-based latex glue on both parts (when using the solvent glue the latex curls up), for the thicker latex this is less, when the glue dries the latex edge will straighten again (let it dry about 2-5 minutes).
After drying the latex parts firmly press together (a pressure roller works perfectly). Try it first with a piece of latex left over, before you start with the actual piece. A good preparation is half the job.
Is the work piece ready and is the glue dried, then lightly wash in a hand dishwashing detergent such as "Dreft" and treat with VIVISHINE.

We sell 2 types of glue: solvent base and water base.
About our Solvent latex glue: This latex glue is superior, but dries quickly when you leave the bottle of latex glue open, (so pay attention), latex glue degreaser to degrease the glue edges, so use degreaser and let dry, before you apply the glue.

Our latex glue is water resistant, with very good adhesive properties,
About our water-based latex glue: you can easily glue the thin latex, the latex does not curl up with this glue.
Always degrease the latex well in advance (but longer drying time with this adhesive desired.
